Health is proud to announce that we have joined our twin magazine Shape as a sponsor of the annual Women's Half Marathon: the Shape + Health Half Marathon. Next year's race will be held on Sunday 19 April in Central Park in New York. Registration starts today!
In addition to our new sponsored partnership, the event will feature a new 5.8 mile race. This race is a great option for runners looking for something shorter than the traditional 13.1 mile half marathon. Both courses promise great views of Central Park and a team of supporters who support you.
Next year will mark the annual race for the 17th time. Thousands of marathon runners cross the finish line and show that #WomenRunTheWorld. In recent years, there have also been runner appearances such as the three-time Olympic champion Deena Kastor, who set new records for 2014. Even the NBC and MSNBC anchors Natalie Morales, Hoda Kotb and Mika Brzezinski hosted and competed in the race.
fitness and camaraderie. Whether you come from all over the country or around the corner, come and visit us in Central Park for an unforgettable event.
